The PADI Deep Diver Specialty is designed for those who wish to explore deeper depths while addressing the specific safety considerations that come with diving at these depths. During the Deep course, you’ll gain the knowledge and skills to safely dive to a maximum depth of 40 meters/130 feet.
At Adelaide Scuba, our Deep Specialty courses are conducted from our on-site dive boats, providing easy access to ideal deep dive locations. You’ll learn how to properly plan deep dives, manage gas consumption, and practice the use of a pony bottle and air-sharing techniques during safety stops.
Our Deep Course includes PADI eLearning, which must be completed prior to the start of your course, as well as one theory and pool session, sling tanks, air fills, and gear hire.
Pre-requisites: You must be a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver (or hold an equivalent certification) to enroll in the Deep Diver course.
