Join us here at Adelaide Scuba in our heated pool for a 2 hour introduction to underwater diving!
This experience is great for those who are contemplating an Open Water Course but perhaps aren't ready, questioning, or want to dip their toes into the underwater world.
Discover Scuba Diving (DSD) is also great for a day-out activity for kids 10 and above during the holidays!
As part of your DSD experience, you'll complete an eLearning module that will breifly explain your gear, some diving physiology, and safety. Most people complete their eLearning in 2 hours.
Depending on how many people are in a DSD group, you're looking at around 2.5 hours (however, this doesn't include your eLearning time that you'll complete before your DSD day!)

Frequently Asked Questions
What if I can't swim?
Unfortunately swimming lessons are not something we can offer here at Adelaide Scuba! We will require you to have basic swimming skills before joining us for your DSD.
If you'd like recommendations on swimming instructors and centres, feel free to give us a call and we'll see if we can help you!
Can I book for only 1 person?
Absolutely! and the price doesn't change if there's just one person!
What if I fail my diver medical?
It is always best to read through the medical questionnaire first to determine if you need doctor clearance. If you have a known medical condition we encourage you to seek out the medical and gain clearance before you commence your eLearning. A medical clearance by a diving doctor will last for 12 months. The eLearning portion of the course is not refundable and once commenced the course is not refundable by Adelaide Scuba. Please ask our friendly staff if you have any questions about how this process works.
Can I use an Adelaide Scuba gift voucher for a DSD?
Yes, of course! You can put your voucher towards your DSD!
